Nogizakatte, Doko? ( 乃木坂って、どこ?)
This is Nogizaka46's Vairety TV show (NogiDoko in short) usually featuring the members' Senbatsu Selections, Skits, Games, Competitions, Day Out/On-location Filming, Cosplay/Dokkiri Events, Talks, Singing, TV Performance, Experiences, Hit Single/PR Campaigns and several other segments spanning across their first 11 Single releases. This TV show hosted by the Bananaman (comedy duo formed in 1993), Osamu Shitara a.k.a Shitara-san and Yuki Himura a.k.a Yuki-kun or Himura-san. They are like the older brothers to the group Nogizaka46 on their TV Shows.
Broadcasting:
The show aired from October 2, 2011 to April 12, 2015 on mainly TV Tokyo (Tokyo Broadcasting System) and also aired on other main television stations in the TX network such as TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Kyushu Hoso. The show had a total of 180 episodes and each episode was usually 22 - 25 minutes in duration. The show used popular songs of Nogizaka46's songs for Intro and Outro themes. The show used a lot of captions and overlays so fans can be better informed as to what was happening and get more information. It was succeeded by Nogizaka Under Construction.
The Hosts (MC):
Himura Yuuki Osamu Shitara |
Shitara is a real wise crack and leader of the group and does what is called boke (meaning of "senility" or "air headed-ness" and is reflected in the boke's tendency for misinterpretation and forgetfulness.). Besides comedy and storytelling, he is an Actor, Voice Actor and Television Presenter. Shitara is known to have hosted more than 600+ television programs in Japan. Shitara always sits to the left of Himura in the show.
Himura takes on the secondary role often sacrificed to Shitara's wise crack and subjected to comical insults on his appearance and antics (totally harmless mind you), his role in duo is of tsukkomi (refers to the role the second comedian plays in "butting in" and correcting the boke's errors). Besides comedy, he is an Actor and a Voice Actor. Himura is known to have hosted more than 400+ television programs in Japan. Himura always sits to the right of Shitara in the show.
