STU48 Hetaretachi yo Review

STU48 released seventh single "Hetare Tachi yo" on October 12th. 

First generation member Takino Yumiko was chosen as the center for this single. 

Okada Nana's concurrent position in AKB48 and STU48 will come to an end after this single. She will henceforth be a full AKB48 member.

The single features Ikeda Yura's first solo song - Ki ni Naranai Kodoku (気にならない孤独). 

Announcement:

The announcement initially surfaced in August and was formally done at a concert at Hiroshima Sun Plaza Hall, on September 12.

Commercial Success:

The single sold 145,550 copies on its first day and 185,975 copies in that week and entered the ORICON Daily and Weekly Single Chart at #1 in position. Total sales were registered as 206,736 copies.

Reactions from STU48 Members:

Takino Yumiko: "Since there will be four second generation members in the senbatsu for this single, I feel the pressure as center that the time has come for STU48 to blow a new wind. Also, in order to deliver a slightly different STU48, I will continue do my best with grateful feelings." 

Tanaka Miho: "There are many times I still feel the gap between me and the senpai. I feel happy to be promoted, but I will do my best so that they can confidently leave various things up to me and also to win their trust." 

Okada Nana: "I feel very sad about the cancellation of my concurrent post and would stay in STU48 forever if I could. Now that we're in our fifth year and the second generation kenkyusei have been promoted, and watching each of the first generation and draft third generation members grow, I feel that they will evolve into an even greater group without my power."
