Kageyama Yuuka was part of the original Hiragana Keyakizaka46 members when the Keyakizaka46 sub-unit was launched. She is a cheerful person who has a positive attitude, perseveres brightly, disliking losing and puts her best efforts behind everything. Most importantly defeats negativity by her charming smile. She is also the Genius of the group. Very Clever, Smart when it comes to her General Knowledge and Academics.
On June 1, 2011, she was on a temporary hiatus from all Keyakizaka46 activities due to academic reason. On May 26, 2020, she returned to the Hinatazaka46 to continue their activities. She made her official Hinatazaka46 debut on Sunday, July 19th 2020, at their weekly Variety TV show Hinatazaka de Aimashō (日向坂で会いましょう).
