Hinatazaka46 Debut 1st Anniversary

First of all big thanks to TeamHinataSubs for the wonderful subs! Japanese made easy!
This was a show featuring current Hinatazaka46 members to commemorate the group's debut a year ago and because of the current restrictions, they chose to hold an anniversary among themselves with a special Talk and Live show. They were originally set to start Fukuoka leg or their planned tour, which was eventually cancelled. The show was hosted by member turned MC's Sasaki Kumi, Tomita Suzuka.
The group even served a health advisory to its viewers chanting - "Te o arau hi, gurgle gurgle hi" (which means - Wash your hand and Gargle.. lol).
First off the Hinatazaka46's 1st year celebratory Birthday Cake!!!!!! Looks Yum!!
Hinatazaka46 Timeline (March 2019 - September 2019):
- March, 2019 - held debut Countdown Live of their Single "Kyun" at Yokohama Arena. They went on to sell over 476,000 copies in the first week release and set a all time record by Girl Idol Group Sales on their debut.
- April, 2019 - the group had 2 permanent TV Variety Shows to broaden their audience. They also appeared on Music Station.
- May 2019 - the group started appearing on Award Shows such as Rakuten Girls Award 2019 Summer/Spring and Air Asia Presents Music Wave 2019.They also appeared as cheering managers in e-Sports events and started promotional activities for their 2nd Single Do Re Me So La Si Do!!
- June 2019 - They made appearances in NHK Akashiya Kouhaku, Tele-E, Reading Stage, FNS etc. as well as continued promoting 2nd Single. Member Hiyori Hamagishi temporarily pulled out of the group due to bad health.
- July 2019 - released 2nd Single Do Re Me So La Si Do!! They sold 449,000 copies in first week sales. This made them the 3rd group to surpass 400,000 first week sales in Consecutive Single releases since their debut.
- August 2019 - Original member Kakizaki Memi announces Graduation from the group. The group released their 1st Photobook named "Tachikogi" (Stand Pedaling) which went on to sell over 100,000 copies in its first week sales making it a huge success.
- September 2019 - They held One Man Live at Saitama Super Arena as 3rd Single Release Commemoration.
They discussed the year gone by and asked fellow member to write suggestions over flip boards, on what they felt were memorable so that it can feature on their anniversary timeline. The MC's would go on to pick a suggestion, preview it and then ask members if it was appropriate to be selected. A selected suggestion had to fetch above 10 Toos (Toos = right hand raised with index finger pointed upwards) for approval from the members to be final. It's like a Vote. MC's asked members to flip their boards for and picked the winners as...
1. Ushio Sarina - "Watermelon-addiction Incident" (only got 9 votes and lost)
2. Sasaki Mirei - "Canned Taruntula eating swarm by members" when cameras weren't actually rolling, members went up to the staff and asked if they can actually eat them, Voting was paused for this suggestion.

Views about Hinatazaka46 were shared by MC's Koyabu Kazutoyo. The kind words brought tears in Higashimura Mei.
Next up... It was a live report by Kanemura Miku on a stall selling Hinatazaka46 Merchandise with the Burikko's Watanabe Miho doing a sales pitch while Saito Kyoko and Miyata Manamo fooling around while Miku was not looking.
Back to Hinatazaka46 Timeline (October 2019 - February 2020):
- October 2019 - 3rd Single "Konna ni Suki ni Nacchatte Ii no?" is released with first week sales 476,000 copies and topped the Oricon Japan charts for the 3rd straight time. They also appeared on TGC Kitakyushu 2019 and Laguna Music Festival 2019 Autumn Special.
- November 2019 - They appeared on FAI Drone Tokyo 2019 Racing & Conference held in TMS. They held XMAS Live Special 2019 at Universal Studios Japan (USJ). Kosaka Nao made her first movie appearance with a role in "Kyoufu Ningyo".
- December 2019 - Hinakuri 2019 event attracted 40,000 fans across 2 days. It is here it was revealed that the group will perform at Tokyo Dome in Hinakuri 2020 edition. All members were shocked and thrilled with joy, with tears rolling down, they were thankful for the opportunity and it was a dream come true for few members like captain Sasaki Kumi. They appeared on Yahoo Most Searched Awards 2019 and Line News presents News Awards 2019. They capped off the year by making their debut on Kouhaku, which is no mean feat in their first year - as Hinatazaka46. They got nominated for Excellence Award at Japan Record Awards for 2019.
- January 2020 - TV Series "DASADA" premiers.
- February 2020 - Dasada Live & Fashion Show was held in Yokohama Arena. Hiyori Hamagishi makes her comeback. The group release yet another smash hit single "Sonna Koto Nai Yo" which sells over 558,000 copies in the first week, their first single to cross the 500,000 mark ever since debut and the 4th consecutive single to chart #1 in Oricon Japan.
Hinatazaka46 Timeline Video Capsule Special
Hinatazaka46 induct 3 new Sakamichi Trainees - Mikuni Takahashi, Marii Morimoto, Haruyo Yamaguchi into the group officially. Speaking of new members, when it was the turn of the new members to meet the group, the group decided to play a prank on new members like they did it for 3rd Gen recruit - Kamimura Hinano. The prank was - all of group members wore French maid costume at the time when they met new members.
The new members were asked to wear colorful maid costumes and come back to see the group so all looked alike. But when they returned, they were shocked to see the group in formal clothing. One of the new member, Morimoto Marii was in tears.
3. Kosaka Nao - "Osaka trip Souvenir Incident" with Watanabe Miho. Kosaka revealed she did all the reservations including the Bullet Train by herself. Other member were like Duh?! Anyway, Kosaka earned 15 Toos.. err.. Votes. Ushio Sarina started cribbing at her result.
4. Kawada Hina - "Just got to keep my Forehead Chilled" - she recalled during Hinakuri 2019 he bumped her head hard on the ceiling without ducking and it was quite painful. To ease the pain, she mistakenly put a Dried Bread on her forehead instead of Cold Compress. Matsuda was like its just rubbish, she was making it up... Kawada got 14 Toos and an entry on the Timeline. Ushio Sarina again dumbfounded.
5. Kamimura Hinano - "Brand New Denims are Smelly Incident". This fetched her 13 Toos. Another entry in the Timeline.
Next up, few words from their Variety Show MC pair Audery - Wakabayashi & Kasuga!!
Finally, the members show off their dancing skills as exercise that can be done at home, would you believe. In this lecture, they put together a medley of 3 songs - Kyun, Do Re Me So La Si Do and Sonna Koto Nai Yo. Interesting!!

Breaking News:
Finally some good news... Original H46 member and the Brains of the old Hiragana Keyakizaka46, the Whiz Kid Wonder Girl who always bears a gentle smile on face - Yuka Kageyama - who has been inactive since August, 2018 is making her comeback as of 26th May, 2020 (although remotely for now)!!! This was reported in Hinatazaka46 website. Welcome back... Genius!
