PPP! PiXiON - now you may have not heard or listened much about them. The original 6 girl troop managed by New Style Production (now: Star Ray Productions) were the sister group of PiiiiiiiN.
So, on to the review of - 『激スプラッシュ』or "Geki su parasshu" that translates to 'Geki Splash' which means 'Successful Splash'. This was PPP! PiXiON’s 2nd single Geki Splash / Big Love ~Kibou no Tanjou~ (激スプラッシュ / ビッグラブ ～希望の誕生～) released in 2013.

About PPP! PiXiON:
At first sight this is a typical Japanese Idol outfit dressed in pink uniform with a beaming smile on their faces. Most of them sound similar to each other so there's no telling who is who. They sure do capture attention with the soft voices and perfect voice modulation.
Members: Ito Risa, Ami Yokoyama, Sumire Uesaka, Akari Tamada, Odawara Shiho, Erika Suzuki in the famed pink PPP! PiXiON costume that was used in the Geki Splash MV and also during their idol Land 2013 performance.
About the Song:
They all are brilliant in their choreography and the skills are evident when you see them perform live. The song is stitched together well with excellent guitar, instrumental electronics and drumming. The only negative being repeatation of a word " 回せ!!回せ!! " which sounds like "MamaSay MaSay" something like that towards the last third of the song, and that in real quick succession. The guitar solo too is could have been better I feel. Otherwise, just brilliant and a perfect JPop Idol Rock track.

As for the music video we head to the beach with the girls dressed in pink uniforms and dancing away to the tune and cutting back n forth to their evening dress (night dress) jumping into the ocean seen having fun with each other. And couple of water guns at hand for good measure. Why do you need that if your taking the plunge into the ocean you'd imagine? Crazy! And ............ How can this video be complete if there is no Splash!! Yepp, at the end each girl gets a splash of water blast across their faces neatly captured in slow motion. But I kinda like the way the point the finger at the audience in threesome shouting Geki Splash! Splash! Splash! as seen in 'idol Land 2013'.

Final verdict: Typical Girly Idol Pop which is Groovy and Catchy. The full Choreography is damn good.
