ØMI in 2021

Hiroomi Tosaka (登坂広臣) also known as ØMI, is a Japanese singer and actor. He is also vocalist of the popular J-pop group, Sandaime J Soul Brothers. He won the Vocal Battle Audition 2 before joining the group. As a member of Sandaime J Soul Brothers, he has received the Japan Record Awards twice.

In 2017, While remaining with his group, he debuted as a soloist with the digital single "Wasted Love". 

Musical Style/GENRE: It is Dance-pop, R&B, ballads. Very KPop'ish in the way he sings.

ØMI in 2021:

In February 20, 2021, as he moved his solo project to his own company CDL entertainment (currently associated with LDH Records) and performed under the stage name ØMI. 

For the new single "ANSWER... SHADOW", three songs from the single, "ANSWER... SHADOW", "Can You See The Light" and "Colorblind", were pre-released digitally through a three month consecutive release project starting in February 2021. 

A fourth song "Give Up" rounded out the tracklist accompanied by the instrumental versions. The CD version of single ANSWER... SHADOW was out in May. Lyrics were penned by ØMI, ZERO (YVES&ADAMS), SUNNY BOY while music was composed by ZERO (YVES&ADAMS).

Later he announced the release of his new single/album titled 'Answer...Shine', which will feature a songs "Starlight" and "You" produced by none other than Suga of BTS. 

The single was released in October 2021 as a digital single and topped iTunes Top Songs Chart in 42 countries/regions and was #3 on Billboard World Digital Song Sales Weekly Charts. ØMI says global success of ‘You’ is “entirely” due to BTS’ Suga which was the lead track. This was followed by "Shine" released as a digital single in December.
