AKB48 Top 20 Members from a personal observation after considering lot of facts (whatever I know about AKB48 Groups over the last 2 years or so.. lol). Not based on any AKB48 Statistics, TV/Magazine Junk, Ridiculous Fan Rankings, Forum Rants etc... Worst of all atrocious Staff/Management decision making!! Well, Past is Past! 

What is this Single Senbatsu Sousenkyou?? 

Every year since 2011 - 2018 annual AKB48 Group members election were held to determine the formation for the Single due at that point in the year and crown the #1 Idol of AKB48 Group, where fans had to vote for their favorite members. Fans could cast their votes through as many as 20 different methods including CD purchase, merchandise etc. Some results were pretty obvious, some were brutally shocking, some total rip-off and others were a complete joke! 

The authenticity of such voting has always remained a question and the mysterious reasons behind not electing to host the 2019 version is still fresh on fans minds. Adding to that the 2020 pandemic has sealed this year's election for good. No one really know who was the popular member, are these votes real or just a massive publicity stunt to lure fans into believing their vote matters and can make a big difference to their favorite Idol Member.
