BABYMETAL

BABYMETAL feature the trio of young Japanese girls Su-Metal (Suzuka Nakamoto - Lead Vocals, Dance), Moa-Metal (Moa Kikuchi - Backing Vocals, Dance) and Yui-Metal (Yui Mizano - Backing Vocals, Dance) from the Sakura Gakuin Idol Group.

They have mainstreamed into Heavy Metal music in a Cute way and hence refer their music as Kawaii Metal. They are managed by KOBAMETAL from Amuse Talent Group.

Su-Metal was ultra talented right from her childhood following in the footsteps of her elder sister who is one of the members of successful Idol group Nogizaka46's Himeka. Mo-Metal and Yui-Metal were added to the group to complement Su-Metal and thus officially were formed in 2010. They are usually dressed in Red and Black which also form their Themes, Stage Props, Promotional & Album Covers and Merchandise.

After several gigs and singles, in 2014 they signed with a major record label BMD Fox Records, gaining worldwide attention and released their first full length album titled after themselves - BABYMETAL. They have since the followed that up adding another album in 2016 called Metal Resistance. Here are some of their hits!

They are hugely popular in Japan, Europe and United States. They have done several World Tours along with the KAMI Band.

They have even collaborated with iconic bands such as Metallica, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Guns N Roses, Avenged Sevenfold, Megadeath, Korn and even Lady Gaga!! They have performed in major cities across the globe and arenas like Tokyo Dome, Budokan, London, Rock Am Ring and Wembley. True Metal Heads may not take a liking to them, but no doubting the immense popularity that exists for them beyond that which will continue to grow every year!
