The album was recorded at The Black Label (Seoul) studios. Producers include the likes of Teddy Sinclair, Willy Sinclair, Bekuh Boom.

They also became the most followed Musical Group/Act on YouTube with a whopping 75 million subscribers. And to top it off, BLACKPINK’s "BORN PINK" has already made history by becoming the first K-Pop album by a female act to get over 2 million pre-orders.

Tracklist: The album has 8 tracks and a play time of 24 min and 30 seconds.

Popular Songs

Song #1: Pink Venom:

It is worth noting that "Pink Venom" from the Album was already released as a single on August 19th. The song is a hip-hop-based track, including elements of traditional Korean instruments with a mix of EDM and Pop-rap. The “Pink Venom” music video boasts a strong visual appeal blending in the likes of the groups signature colors like Pink, Purple, and Yellow, traipsing through the elements. The members march through and destroy stuff before coming together in a final part with a group of dancers. The members as ever make a bold fashion statement sporting Celine bucket hat, Alexander Wang top (by Lisa), Dior top (by Jisoo) and Chanel boots (by Jinnie) in the Music Video. The track was written by Teddy and Danny Chung and composed by Teddy, 24, R. Tee, and Ido. The song won 5 Korean Music Program Awards - 1 at Show Champion, 3 at M Countdown and 1 at Inkigayo. The song also hit #1 in 12 International Charts.

Song #2: Shut Down:

It has a perfect mix of classical and trendy hip-hop beats. It also has sampling of Paganini’s La Campanella. The makes visual references to previous music videos. From Jennie’s crystal tank, Jisoo taking charge and holding the camera, Lisa’s katana sword and Rosé seated on a chandelier, the video is a re-imagined version of their previous hits. The lyrics are by Park, Danny Chung & Vince while the music was composed by Park & 24. Well its definitely "Its Black & Pink when its Sundown" - because its Shutdown.

Song #4: Yeah Yeah Yeah:

In "Yeah Yeah Yeah" we see more Retro Pop, Synth based 80's style music coming in to the foray. Members Rosé and Jisoo are credited with songwriting along side VNN and Kush. Music by Kush, R. Tee, VVN, Ido.
