=LOVE 12th Single Be Selfish

=LOVE released their 12th Single titled "Be Selfish" on September 28th with 5 songs. The single was released under Sacra Music (Sony Music Labels Inc.).

Noguchi Iori, one of the lead vocalist has been chosen as the Center for "Be Selfish", following the selection of Sasaki Maika as center for the previous release "Anoko Complex". Noguchi Iori has been a stand out performer with a very mature high voice and it's nice to see her get a much needed break at the top.

Significantly this will be the last single to feature Saito Nagisa. The single sold 110,115 copies on the day of release.

Be Selfish:

The title song “Be Selfish” is all about believing in the idea of “Treasure yourself and be selfish. Create a world just for you.” The song puts out a bold message and to project the members as very active and powerful women. Noguchi Iori is the center. Others include Otani Emiri, Oba Hana, Otoshima Risa, Saito Kiara, Saito Nagisa, Sasaki Maika, Takamatsu Hitomi, Takiwaki Shoko, Morohashi Sana and Yamamoto Anna. The MV shows a large Public Wash/Laundry with lots of machines and shuffles to a Pinkish Indoor and also a fictional garden.

On first, look it's is not JPop or Idol MV at all. Seriously!! Very cheesy KPop like feel, with lots of props, high production, fancy colors, snazzy camera work and some graphics eyewash for good measure. And a large fictional bunny rabbit that keeps popping now and then. The girls get in the act as well and are seen holding, eating carrots and sipping carrot juice in an indoor garden.

Here is the scoop. Apparently, The music video was filmed in South Korea for two days, marking the first overseas production of Sashihara Rino's 3 Idol groups (=LOVE, ≠ME, ≒JOY). After CAMEO, =LOVE, once again prove they can hold their own against KPop counterparts with their outfits, choreography, dance sequences and highly fashionable video production that are more spectacular and larger than life than ever before.

The song sounds similar to FUN by Who Is Princess (in some parts). That said, it is a good song but it will definitely need the MV to back it up. A Performance Video version of the song is also available.
