Girls2

Girls2 (styled as Girls² and pronounced "Girls Girls") is a Japanese idol girl group formed by LDH in 2019. The group consist of EXPG Studio graduates who starred in Takashi Miike's Girls × Heroine series. They essentially were a result of a merger of groups - magical², miracle², and mirage². Apart from singing, they carry out a wide range of activities as actresses, talents of variety TV shows, models, radio MCs, anime voice actresses etc. 

They are managed by "SL Square LLP", a joint management project by LDH Japan and Sony Music Labels. They are often referred to as "GaruGaru" (ガルガル). 

Musical Style: They pack a good mix of JPop and KPop'ish Style of music similar to JYP's TWICE, ITZY and NiziU in few songs. Vocally they can do better as they sound more like some Middle/High School girls (although one might argue that is what they are), yet it's not really overwhelming when compared to other Idols. But they are a young group. They have time though.

And they need to stop using ダイジョウブ(Daijoubu = Alright, Fine, Safe etc.), which was the name of their debut single and 最後 の (Saigo/Saigo no = Last, End etc.) in most of their songs... a real downer, blame their lyricist. But trust me some of the music is really cool and awesome.

For me their stand out songs are basically KPop presented by JPop Idols with songs such as ABCDEF Girl, Here We Go, Good Days, Chu-Lu-Chu-Chu and C-mon' Neo Zipang!!! These 5 songs are absolute best and a must in your music playlist!
