ITZY 2021 Releases

ITZY in 2021 have released couple of their works, through JYP Entertainment.

ITZY revealed back in December 2020, that their English debut album Not Shy (English Version) set to be released on January 22, 2021, will include English versions of all their current and previous title tracks including Dalla Dalla, Icy, Wannabe and Not Shy. The total Track Length is 12.41 Minutes. With a good KPop fanbase and major magazines / endorsements / coverage already stateside, ITZY are looking to capitalize their current fame to become a mainstay among US fans.

Why US?? Yeji says - “We thought that making an English version album could be a way for us to return the love we have received from our global fans. I believe that we can have a deeper communication with them through this album.”

Now, having listened to the Korean + English original songs, listening again to just plain English version can be quite jarring and off-putting especially with songs like ICY, Dalla Dalla and Wannabe etched permanently in our heads in their original form. Listen to them and take the call yourself. Moving on to their most recent release in April 2021.

ITZY make a comeback with a new album and their 4th EP - Guess Who? which was released on April 30th, 2021. It has reportedly sold over 200,000 copies. JYP Entertainment is going all out and want to make them as big as possible. No doubting the singing talent that is on offer. The 6 songs recorded are a mix of Hip hop music, Dance music, Trap music, Contemporary R&B.

The title track Mafia In the Morning is composed by LYRE, J.Y Park, earattack, & KASS, and written by J.Y Park, KASS, danke, & LYRE.
