Bangtan Boys (BTS)

They are the undisputed K-Pop Sensation ever and "easily the biggest and most successful name in K-pop".
BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a seven-member (V, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, and Suga) South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment. The name subsequently became a backronym for Beyond the Scene in July 2017. 

On June 12, 2013, they performed the song "No More Dream" from their initial album 2 Cool 4 Skool to commemorate their debut on June 13, 2013. They won several New Artist of the Year awards for the track "No More Dream", including at the 2013 Melon Music Awards and Golden Disc Awards and the 2014 Seoul Music Awards.

The band continued to gain prominence with their subsequent albums Dark & Wild, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 2 and The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever, with the latter two entering the U.S. Billboard 200. The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever went on to win the Album of the Year award at the 2016 Melon Music Awards.

Their second full album, Wings, peaked at #26 on the Billboard 200, which marked the highest chart ranking for a K-pop album ever. In South Korea, Wings became the best-selling album in the Gaon Album Chart history at the time. They have 5 #1 GOAN Chart blockbusters. They now have 3 #1 Billboard US Top 200 hits to their credit with 14 US World #1 hits. BTS has two Platinum singles, three Gold singles, and two Gold albums in the United States. They have 5 Oricon #1 Hits and Japan top 100 Hits each.

BTS has received 15 Melon Music Awards, 15 Mnet Asian Music Awards, 14 Golden Disc Awards, 12 Seoul Music Awards, 10 Gaon Chart Music Awards, 4 Billboard Music Awards, 4 Korean Music Awards, 2 MTV Video Music Awards, 1 American Music Award and more to come. They have 10 Guinness World Records to their name. BTS' Love Myself is an anti-violence campaign is popular among masses.
